Creation of Meaning & Past (until the location becomes improbable)

Creation of Meaning & Past (until the location becomes improbable) is the title of a large-scale work assembled from sheets of paper. The ruin depicted here is a symbolic representative of memory and suggests a place of transition; after all, it marks a point in time that lies on the boundary of Past and Present, or that of Past and Future, as it were. Between these states of “not yet” and “no longer”, the ruin acts as the metaphorical carrier of hope.
