My Neighbourhood

My Neighbourhood allows us to turn voyeur: Without shame, we may dive deep into other’s private lives. Three times the same floor plan, three different flats; they are all noteworthy by the absence of their inhabitants who only are outlined by their everyday housewares: The bomb maker, the conspiracy theorist, the reader. – My Neighbourhood Architecture becomes mind-space; a spatially close relationship across a 30 cm interior wall poses a question of and about identity and isolation, a question about the relationship between “You” and “I”.
